Representatives for Carmack-Altwies did not immediately respond to EW’s requests for comment.
Hutchins died on Oct. 21, 2021, after a gun in Baldwin’s hand discharged live ammunition.

“The state’s willful withholding of this information was intentional and deliberate,” the judge said.
“There is no way for the court to right this wrong.”
Prosecutorsannounced they were dropping their plans to appealSommer’s decision in December 2024.
In a separate case,Rustarmorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, wasconvicted of involuntary manslaughterin March 2024.
She was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
Baldwin has also been involved in a number of otherRust-related legal proceedings prior to Thursday’s suit.
Baldwin thensued Gutierrez-Reed and otherRustcrew members for negligencein November 2022.
The parents and sister of Halyna Hutchins thensued Baldwin for negligencein February 2023.
