“I love playing Sami and I am always happy for the chance to come back.
Sweeney first portrayed Sami in 1993, and she remained on the show until 2014.
This time, she teased that her storyline is “unexpected.”
In addition toDays, Sweeney is known for her Hallmark movies.
Her next isA Sprinkle of Deceit: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, which debuts Oct. 4.
Her costar is Victor Webster, whom she previously worked alongside onDays.
