For instance, she jokes, “The remake ofRoadhouse I’m like, where was the sex scene?

And oh, baby, what a sex scene it is.

So, when they decide to have sex for the first time, Lainy has to get creative.

And so a very wild, very ridiculous sex scene is born.

So I wrote it out pretty quick,” Schumer explains.

Director Tyler Spindel adds, “It was such a funny idea.

And for the longest time in the script, it was just slugged as ‘insane sex scene.'”

This, of course, included Forte, who was (much like his character!)

“I’m like, Will, are you comfortable with this?

And he was down for whatever,” Schumer says.

“He was not going to be the one putting any sort of brakes on.”

“In the moment, I was like, ‘Should you be wearing baseball gloves?

What’s in a garage?'”

“And he’s like, ‘Oven mitts.’

And we picked it out and it was fun picking out which mask he was going to wear.

We had fun across the board.”

I think I just won’t make my landing,’ is what I said," Schumer explains.

“We used this kind of deflated yoga ball that I had to be climbing.

The hilarity doesn’t end there, though.

“I mean, you’ve got to accidentally hit the clicker.

That just has to happen.”

Unfortunately for Schumer, all of this was going down not far from her home in Brooklyn.

“My real neighbors are walking by.

And they’re like, what?

And I was like, this is not good.

This is not good for my vibe with the neighbors, for the community, for community building.

It’s not a community builder,” she says, laughing.

Spindel says a real family, not actors, were hired for the moment.

Schumer calls it her favorite moment in the scene, which she thinks is the funniest in the movie.

The first time he saw the results was when he watched the finished film for the first time.

How did he react?

“He was dying.

He was so happy.

He couldn’t believe it,” Schumer recalls.

And I think it’s so much funnier that I don’t ever make my landing.”

“That should have always been a position on sets.

“It’s so essential to have that role, and they make it look better.

She helped us make it look better.

She helped in every way possible.”
