“I cleared it only because it was Britney Spears, and I was thinking…” Brown started.
Sharpe interjected, “She going to do it good.
She going to do it right.”
“Yeah,” Brown answered.
“Teddy Riley’s doing it too.
So, you know, but I felt it was a butchering.”
He said that it’s made him more cautious about letting his music be used by other artists.
“Because you don’t know what these kids will say these days.
