From the first moments, its clear this is a different Thaddeus Ross.
Its never a great sign when a screenplay has five credited writers, asBrave New Worlddoes.

Still,Brave New Worldworks significantly better than plenty of other Marvel films.
But by and large, its Ford who elevates the film.

Steve gave them something to believe in, you give them something to aspire to.
Thaddeus Ross is not a supervillain; hes not even a particularly morally bankrupt politician.
Hes just a man trying to do his best for his daughter and the country he loves.

There’s a rich, compelling movie in that line of thinking that is never fully explored.
So, we hope its merely the beginning of that aspect of Sams story.
