“We have a little pull with them,” Anthony says with a laugh.

Naturally, that led them to deciding their fictional robots came from Disney.

“It just felt really delightful to us,” Joe says.

Why is Mr. Peanut the leader of the robot rebellion?

The Russos say they added that particular detail just to lighten the overall tone of the movie.
