I went up and introduced myself to him and I just thought it was a sign.
It felt a little serendipitous.
So I said, ‘All right, maybe I’ll follow this sign and I’ll do it.’
And that’s what ultimately made me do it."
Rock is a prankster and big gambler who thrives on taking risks.
Rock tells EW why he’s here…“Oh, the competition, the backstabbing, the drama.
I mean, the whole ball of wax, man.

But the last episode, my niece texted me and I kind of got distracted.
And I’m like, ‘LOL, why would I tell you that?’
“I’m just putting fluff in there.
And at the end it has this little passport photo thing and it’s like ‘Make a video.’
I’m literally in the dark.
The only light is the light from my TV.
I don’t think anything of it, I just did it for fun.
I wanted to see what the questions were.
So I don’t answer.
“I get my mom to breakfast.
c’mon give me a call.'
And I was like, ‘Are you s—-ing me?’
And I’m like, ‘Are you serious?
I was only playing.’
She was like, ‘It was hilarious.
I really want to talk to you.’
She was like, ‘Oh, producers loved it.
Oh, read this and sign it.
Oh, go get blood work.’
I was like, ‘Oh my God!’
So I didn’t plan to be on the show at all.
I wasn’t even overwhelmingly thrilled with the first season.
I kind of watched it sporadically, fast forwarded.
And here I am.”
As he steps onto the island, he plans to embrace even greater risks to secure his victory.
