“I just knew she was the one,” Cantrall says of Baker’s casting as Chloe Charming.
But in real life, the costars instantly became besties which made playing enemies a little trickier.
“Working with her is so much fun, its nearly impossible to get into character hating her.

“We were actually Instagram friends for a while,” Cantrall tells EW.
“Malia was the last girl that I read with, ever, for Chloe.
And the casting director was like, ‘Oh my God, I totally agree.’
I always tell her it was love at first sight I just knew she was the one.”
We met, and right away, we just hit it off.
“And then we would go bowling after and hang out.
It made for a really smooth filming process because of that.”

A year and a half later, Cantrall says that she and Baker are still close.
“She’s just my favorite person ever,” she says.
It’s been so amazing doing it with her."
