Parton met Dean in 1964, well before she was the superstar she is today.
She also called him her “best friend.”
When he died, her team announced the sad news on social media.
Their post included a quote from Parton: “Carl and I spent many wonderful years together.
Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years.”
