Kinon said she was surprised by Barrymore’sannouncementon Sunday that her showwould kick off its fourth seasonon Sept. 18.
“Unions only work when you stick together with unions across the labor spectrum.”
Barrymore had also previously shown support for the strike bydropping out of hosting the MTV Movie Awardsin May.

Kinon said that Barrymore’s return makes a degree of sense when considering the show’s other staffers.
