Then, “one night our drinking had got out of control.”
Bonsall was arrestedin Boulder, Colo., in 2007 after his girlfriend reported that he had assaulted her.
He wound up facing charges of second-degree assault and false imprisonment.

She then claimed Bonsall “poured whiskey in my eyes while I was asleep.”
Bonsall could be heard in the background claiming she cut his face with a knife, which she denied.
Bonsall’s own recollection is “super blurry, but I remember holding arms, grabbing a phone.
I did one of the worst things you could do, I tried to block the door.
I was like, ‘I love you, don’t do this.’
At that point, we realized we weren’t good for each other and broke up.”
