On the slopes of Deer Valley, their worlds collided, and so did they literally.
Seven years later in 2023, they went to court.
This is their story.

Representatives for Paltrow did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
The Goop founder countersued for a symbolic $1, plus additional lawyer fees.
The viral trial, along withPaltrow’s testimony, was heavily memed.
The jury ultimately determined theOscar winner was not at faultfor the collision.
As for the musical adaptation,we wish it well.
