Makeup artist Allie Shehorn is recovering after an alleged attack by her ex-boyfriend.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition and a suspect was arrested, authorities said.

“No one deserves to endure such a traumatic experience, especially someone as compassionate and caring as Allie.
Dornoff also said that Shehorn had been moved out of the ICU on Tuesday.
Dornoff stated that a woman named Christine White found Shehorn after the attack.
“She is like an adopted Mom who cares a lot about Allie,” Dornoff said.
“She is very brave and acted fast when she found Allie bleeding out.
Thank you Christine for saving her life.”
“She’s been in really good spirits,” she said.
“I feel like she’s comforting all of us, which is kind of how Allie is.
