Until now, Bond has only been permitted to exist in feature films.
Theres also the possibility that James Bond films will cease to be a cinematic event.
(Though wed like to make the plea that Bond remain solely in the hands of British/Commonwealth thespians).

All of this being said, one does wonder about the intentions of Bonds new creative architects.
But the worst-case scenario?
That would be Bond becoming a tool of the villains hes spent his fictional life defeating.
