Jon Stewart returns toThe Daily Show: 'What a terrible f---ing week'

Stewart and the show canceled plans to film at the Republican National Convention after Donald Trump was shot.

Jon Stewart knew it was a mistake to come back toThe Daily Showthis election cycle.

“Hey Jon, come back toThe Daily Showjust for the election.

Itll be fun, Stewart deadpanned.

“you’ve got the option to do one day a week.

It’ll be a laugh.

What could go wrong?”

Monday’s show was canceled, and Tuesday’s was filmed in New York.

“What a terrible f—ing week,” Stewart said.

“You really don’t want to be in the hard perimeter.

It was locked down,” Stewart said.

“Indogcision,” for instance, was meant to help people both adopt dogs and register to vote.

The comedian called speaker Sean O’Brien, the president of the Teamsters, a “Rob Cordry doppleganger.”
