Noah announced he was leaving the show after seven years in September 2022 to focus on stand-up comedy.
“But in the most beautiful way.
I’ve loved hosting the show.
It’s been one of my greatest challenges.
It’s been one of my greatest joys.
You know, we’ve laughed together, we’ve cried together.
But after seven years, I feel like it’s time.”
Woodleft the seriesafter eight years as a correspondent and also guest-hosted four episodes in April 2023 after Noah departed.
