Mama June Shannon hopes a new house will help with 'nightmare' loss of her daughter

This is where everything happened, Shannon, 44, said.

In January 2023, Cardwell wasdiagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinomain her liver, kidney, and lung.

She passed away in my home last night peacefully at 11:12 PM.

She gave one hell of a fight for 10 months.

Cardwell left behind two children: 11-year-old Kaitlyn and 8-year-old Kylee.

But the two had reconciled and were together at Shannons February 2023 wedding to Stroud.

Now, Shannon told PEOPLE, its time to find a new place to call home.
