On Wednesday, EW learned that theHalle Berry-led science fiction dramaThe Mothershiphas been pulled byNetflix.
The streamer will not complete and release the film.

Warner Bros. shelved the projects as a way to secure tax write-offs.
He also wrote the script.
MRC Film, who producedKnives Outand 2023’sFair Play, was a partner on the project with Netflix.
Representatives for Berry did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
She will next star in Netflix action thrillerThe Union.
