TheDisney alumdid not confirm whether or not Swift specifically requested credits on either track.
“It’s not something that I was super involved in,” Rodrigo noted.
“It was more team-on-team.
So, I wouldn’t be the best person to ask.”
“I don’t think I would ever personally do that,” she said.
“But who’s to say where I’ll be in 20, 30 years.
All that I can do is write my songs and focus on what I can control.”

“I never want to say who any of my songs are about.
I’ve never done that before in my career and probably won’t.
I think it’s better to not pigeonhole a song to being about this one thing.”
She did concede that she was “very surprised when people thought” it was about Swift, though.
