On Wednesday,Richard Gerefollowed in the footsteps ofCherby flustering an unsuspectingToday Showhost during a live interview.
Immediately, the astonished news anchor attempted to hide the gesture behind a stack of papers.

“You just did an obscene gesture on this family morning show!”
“I’m bleeping you!”
She then pointed out that Gere is not the first star to warrant aToday Showbleep this week.
“You didn’t show but that’s what I did in the piece,” Gere explained.
“That’s what the clip was!”
Guthrie replied, “That’s what the clip was but we cut that part out.”
He later joked, “My hand did that, I didn’t do it!
I have no control!”
“What did she tell you to do?”
“She said, ‘F— him.
You’re the one with the talent.'”
Kotb was flustered by the F-bomb but laughed it off.
“I should’ve bleeped it myself,” she joked.
Halfway through the week, there’s still plenty of time left for yet another star to shock theTodayanchors.
