ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: What happened?

How are you the second person eliminated this season?

RICHARD HATCH:It’s my fault, for sure.

And I should have been able to do that no matter how disconnected from reality these people might be.

Who do you blame the most for your exit?

Well, I have to blame me because I should have been able to do better.

Camilla, certainly, I focused on very, very, very clearly.

I very honestly shared things with her.

So I wasn’t doing my job.

But here I am.

Were you shocked when she put you on the Hit List?

That’s an interesting word in these shows, because I know where I am.

I’m not a ball of emotions like most of these folks.

It’s fascinating to watch them they really are not pretending.

I’m in a game, so I’m very, very aware of the possibilities.

Did I expect her to put me up?

Was I shocked that she did?

But that’s part of the game.

It’s okay, they’ll get their fill with what happens next.

It’ll just be without you.

Without me… for a while.

That’s all I’ll say.

I don’t know if I can say, but that’s possible.

Yeah, you really reminded everyone of your legacy as “the naked Survivor.”

You never know where those cameras are not that I cared, obviously.

Do you regret allowing Camilla to become the Supervillain of the Week, since she immediately betrayed you?

And who could bother regretting things like that?

Life’s too short.

Boy, was I wrong.

They were really not playing.

Most of them really truly just didn’t know they were in a game.

They just really didn’t understand.

It’s fascinating to me from a human perspective.

It was messy as hell still, but that’s okay.

She’s getting there.

She had to kind of be more confident in what she was perceiving.

But you were the next one out.

But I don’t think that my being out is his doing so much as my failure.

If I thought he was better at what he was doing, I would credit him.

In the redemption challenge, were those shocks as painful as they seemed?

So if you thought they were making it look painful, good.

It was 15 times more painful than that.

Safaree could not move.

He was really stung by it.

I mean, they wereshocks.

They were really, really, really tough.

What did you think of how you were voted out unanimously?

Not even Kandy voted to save you.

That’s decent gameplay.

If only Camilla had more self-confidence.

You don’t want to stand out like that.

I’m glad they didn’t vote for me to stay when they knew what the other votes were.

Did you know ahead of time it was going to be you?

They were lying so badly it wasn’t even worth lying.

Who was the worst liar?

I think he’d convinced himself that what he was saying was true.
