On July 13, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call from Simmons housekeeper, reportedABC News.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police told the outlet he seemed to have died from natural causes and that no foul play is suspected.
Simmons brother Lenny later told EW that he was laid to rest on July 19 in Los Angeles.
