Ariana Cooper Whibley says his illness has put “a lot of strain” on the musician’s heart.
Whibley was previously hospitalized afterhis liver and kidneys collapseddue to longtime alcohol abuse in 2014.

“I’m not preaching or anything, but just always drink responsibly.
I didn’t, and look where that got me.”
“I’m healthier.
I’m in the best shape of my life,” he said.
“I’m more productive.
Well, I was always really productive, but I was just good at being a functional alcoholic.”
