Director and DC Studios head James Gunn confirms filming has begun on Superman’s birthday.
Hollywood’s next incarnation of Superman has officially taken flight, albeit with a new title.
“When I finished the first draft of the script, I called the film Superman: Legacy.

By the time I locked the final draft, it was flush the title was SUPERMAN.

The design Gunn shared, however, bears a similar look but is much more traditional Superman.
The film is meant to anchor the new reboot of the DC universe on the big screen.
