TIYANA HALLUMS:Right after I saw the second name written down, I knew that it was over.
Because I knew that Gabe was going to write my name down, that was obvious.

It was me or him.
But once I saw that second name down….
So that moment was like my heart literally dropped all the way to hell.

My entire organ started shutting down.
There’s no idol, there’s no advantage.
There’s nothing that I could do to stop that from happening.

So it was a pretty surreal moment for me, for sure.
We saw you crying as you walked out of Tribal Council.

I was just sitting there afterwards just in absolute denial.
I think that’s the best way to describe it.
I was in a cloud of Imaginationland where I did not believe the reality that I was in.
I was in my head.
It was a prank.
Ha ha, come on back, Tiyana.
So how hard was that for you being that close to the jury?
I think tripping right there at the finish line was almost worse than getting voted out earlier.
To literally see it and be like, Oh my God!
That was one of the most earth-shattering things that could have happened.
I was playing for so much more than myself.
I was playing for my family, my home, everything.
So I felt like I disappointed everyone in that moment for sure.
What have the past few months been like?
Were you able to put it behind you or is it always kind of lingering there a bit?
Oh my gosh, always.
I feel like I’m out there.
I am in the sky serving things and I’ll just think aboutSurvivor.
Yeah,Survivorjust is a little implant that never leaves.
What was it like having to watch it back again last night?
Man, that was tough.
It’s almost like you get transported right back into that seat.
It’s like no time has passed.
You remember all the emotions that you’re going through.
And the fact that nobody did was pretty crazy.
Why do you think Caroline and Kyle sided with Gabe over you?
And I was like, No, I’m not going to ever write your name down.
We got this together.
I thought that that was crazy.
It just did not work out for me.
No, if Rachel stayed, the game plan was Gabe.
So Rachel would’ve been a very big part of it.
And you’ve gotten confirmation from Kyle on this?
If Rachel had stayed you guys would’ve voted for Gabe three?
But as we could see, there was nothing that came of fruition with that statement.
I feel like that was totally real, in my opinion.
And she wasn’t hearing any of it.
So when you get stonewalled like that, there’s nothing I can do.
So me and Kyle were at the bottom and we had no way out, really.
I was going to ask you if you had any inclination that Sue was feeding info back to him.
It sounds like you didn’t at all.
It was strictly that I knew that he was gunning for me, and I had a gut feeling.
One of my biggest regrets in this game is that I had to apologize to him.
Gabe wants to work with you.
I don’t understand.
I thought that me and Caroline had a really good relationship in terms of she’s incredibly intelligent.
It’s almost like anything that Gabe said went, it was Gabe’s game forever.
Everyone needs a ride or die, but it seems like you didn’t really have one.
Whats something that happened out there that didnt make it to TV that you wish we had seen?
We’re going to do this together, blah, blah, blah.
I was counting her out because of her behavior that she was showing me.
I don’t know what that was.
Even to this day, I still don’t know what that was.

I really resonate with a lot of the characters in the Lulu tribe, likeSabiyah,Kaleb.
It was such a good tribe to be on.
With me, I think we could have done really, really well.
