My great-grandma had this beautiful house, Sweeney explained.

It was a two bedroom, cute little house that they lived in.
My grandma was born in it.
Yeah, the upkeep, Clarkson replied, to which Sweeney agreed, Yeah, it was a lot.
Thanks to that continued success, she was able to give back to her family.
And its really cool too.
My granny still lives in the house next door, so, Im neighbors with my granny now.
An awestruck Clarkson then exclaimed, Youre like a Hallmark movie.
There was a good eight, nine years where no one was saying yes.
It was just me pushing through all the nos.
During that period, Sweeney said she watched her parents lose a lot.
We filed for bankruptcy, and they lost their house back home on the lake, she recalled.
We couldnt afford life in L.A.
It was hard because they were supporting my dream, and I couldnt imagine doing anything else.
I didnt want to fail them.
