Terrence Howardhas revealed the line that he refuses to cross when it comes to choosing roles.
TheEmpirealum divulged the info while tellingClub RandomhostBill Maherabout the “biggest mistake” he ever made in his career.
“And Quincys like, ‘Yes.'”

From there, Howard decided that he “could not” play the role.
“You mean you couldnt kiss a guy on screen in a movie?”
Maher asked, to which Howard replied, “No.

Because I dont fake it.”
“I couldn’t kiss a man either,” Maher agreed.
Howard took it further, adding, “That would f— me.

I would cut my lips off.
If I kissed some man, I would cut my lips off.”
He added, “It does not make me homophobic to not want to kiss a man.”

As for Howard, he explained that it was a matter of authenticity in his performance.
“I can’t play that character 100 percent,” the actor said.
“I can’t surrender myself to a place that I don’t understand.”
Representatives for Howard did not immediately respond toEntertainment Weekly’s request for comment.
“Brando used to go cha-cha dancing with us.
He could dance his ass off.
He was the most charming motherf—er you ever met,” Jones said.
