Ty Pennington had to have a bit of an extreme internal makeover this week.

I’m okay now, still recovering,” he wrote.
“Wednesday I had surgery and yesterday afternoon I was released from the ICU.
He is also currently the host ofRock the BlockandBattle on the Beachon HGTV.
