Clooney also co-wrote the play with longtime producing and writing partner Grant Heslov.
The script is based on the 2005 film of the same name, also written by Clooney and Heslov.
Both the film and the play take their title from Murrow’s signature sign-off.
David Cromer, who won a Tony Award for directingThe Band’s Visit,is attached to direct.
