The strongest tension within the group is between Lou and Marilyn, who beefed about a boy decades ago.
“Why was Lou so mad at you?”
a young woman says at what seems to be a bachelorette party.
“You stole her man?”
Marilyn doesn’t fight back.
“I couldnt make a bed, but I could break a bed,” she says.
“TikTok was mine!
You stole it from me,” Midler’s character yells.
They tear each others clothing out of spite.
“Is it just me, or do we need some champagne?”
