In the behind-the-scenes footage,SNLmusic director Eli Brueggemann breaks down the process of crafting the song.

Thompson minimizes his involvement in the recording process.
“It was like a rap that felt familiar,” he says.
“I was there for two seconds.
That’s how good it all feels.
Brueggemann also reflects on collaborating with Hernandez.
“I love working with Marcello,” he says.
“He’s just a ball of energy and coming up with new stuff all the time.
I love reacting in the moment.
It was fun when he came in to record.
A lot of the times, the best, most funniest takes are the first or maybe the second.
It wants to feel like it’s now, it’s happening in this moment.”
