He elaborated, criticizing the film’s characters as unpleasant portraits.
“I dont like either of those people.
I dont like them as actors.
I dont like them as characters.
I dont like the whole thing,” Schrader said.
Before he could finish the question, however, Schrader cut in with a, “No.”
“He had issues.
However, theres a romance inside of him, and theres music inside of him.”
